The veteran broadcaster Sir Jimmy Savile has died at his home in Leeds at the age of 84. He was recently in hospital with pneumonia. Savile started out as a DJ on BBC Radio 1 and was the first host of Top of the Pops in 1964. Nick Higham looks back on his life.
